Yesterday I was in Bhavnagar for my institute’s campaigning during an examination.
During our lunch time, me and my friends Rajesh and Dhruv went to ‘Das Athitya’ a hotel that serves Gujarati meal. The hotel is in a crowded area of Bhavnagar so we were hunting for a parking place, we found a place where a traffic police was set.
Dhruv asked him whether we can park our car in that free space. He said “No. Find out some other place” and pointed another place around 300 meters away from we were.
We went there, parked our car and returned to the place where we had seen that empty space and with our surprise a black santro was parked there. We saw a police inspector coming out and he went to the panwala.
Then and then we came to know that the place in front of the panwala’s show WAS RESERVED FOR POLICEMEN TO RELAX!
Aaah – the dance of democracy – that is how media describes each and every action of media. How to describe these reservations of policemen!?

I offer my heartiest wishes to Mr. Barack Obama on his 47th birthday.

For my readers, here is an excerpt about Mr. Obama – from his official site.
Barack Obama was born in Hawaii on August 4th, 1961. His father, Barack Obama Sr., was born and raised in a small village in Kenya, where he grew up herding goats with his own father, who was a domestic servant to the British.
Barack’s mother, Ann Dunham, grew up in small-town Kansas. Her father worked on oil rigs during the Depression, and then signed up for World War II after Pearl Harbor, where he marched across Europe in Patton’s army. Her mother went to work on a bomber assembly line, and after the war, they studied on the G.I. Bill, bought a house through the Federal Housing Program, and moved west to Hawaii.
It was there, at the University of Hawaii, where Barack’s parents met. His mother was a student there, and his father had won a scholarship that allowed him to leave Kenya and pursue his dreams in America.
Barack’s father eventually returned to Kenya, and Barack grew up with his mother in Hawaii, and for a few years in Indonesia. Later, he moved to New York, where he graduated from Columbia University in 1983.

“Rising Oil Prices: NEED FOR CONSERVATION AT EVERY STEP”
Dr. Manmohan Singh’s Address to the Nation on July 4, 2008
It has been some time since I have had the opportunity to speak to you. In the time that has gone by, our
country has marched forward as one of the world’s fastest growing economies. This has enabled us to generate revenues that have been invested for the welfare of our people – in employment generating programmes, in farmer’s welfare and in building our social and economic infrastructure.
As I speak to you today, I feel confident that the people of India will continue to demonstrate their creativity and potential for high growth. I assure you that our Government will continue to pursue policies that will make our growth process more socially inclusive; more meaningful to all sections of society; more beneficial to our farmers, artisans, and industrial workers.
